In The Attic: Wright Kay & Co Quadruple Plated Silver Candelabra

Hello Everyone and welcome back to this week's "In The Attic" article. This week we have a neat find I picked up here in Simcoe County. It is a Wright Kay & Co Quadruple plated silver candelabra with 5 twisted arms and a beaded silver accents and is pattern number 578. It is VERY heavy!!

I did a little research on the history of Wright Kay & Co and they were a well known jeweller in Detroit, Michigan, USA and occupied a building at 1500 Woodward Ave in Detroit's historic district. The business was in operation between 1886-1978. This specific Today, the building is a mix of residential, a clothing store and this namesake Wright & Company Restaurant.

Here are a few different pictures I got with the candelabra. And, YES- for you china experts out there that china place setting is by Ridgway of Staffordshire, England in "Country Days" pattern!
